Hanuman movie Story (2024)

The story revolves around Hanumanthu (Teja Sajja), in the sleepy, impoverished town of Anja Nadri, where it looks like time has stood still. The story opens with Michael (Vinay Rai), whose youthful desire for superpowers—fed by superhero flicks and animated series—becomes the impetus for what happens in the film. The narrative shifts into a suspenseful struggle between good and evil as Hanumanthu turns into Hanuman, possessing magical abilities akin to the mythical hero Hanuman. Michael’s unrelenting quest of these capabilities is motivated by ambition and avarice. There is a lot on the line in this struggle of wills, and the issue is: who will win in the end?

The story of Hanuman begins in the center of the gorgeous but underdeveloped town of Anja Nadri, where it blends aspects of fiction and reality. As the main character, Hanumanthu, emerges as the ray of hope for the hamlet, he gains incredible abilities and draws comparisons to the fabled Hanuman. But overshadowing this beautiful scene is Michael, whose insatiable thirst for power consumes him. Michael, driven by ambition and prepared to do whatever it takes, creates the conditions for a titanic struggle between good and evil. The town becomes the scene of a cosmic fight as Hanuman and Michael’s fates collide, keeping viewers on the tip of their seats to see how this suspenseful story ends.

Hanuman movie Review

It’s important to refute the widespread pessimism over the film’s budget, as the production expenditures reportedly skyrocketed to 55–60 crores in order to accommodate the director’s expansive vision. “Hanuman” is the most visually striking mid-budget film in Indian cinema history, even with its significantly larger budget. A cinematic extravaganza has been created via the creative collaboration of a committed crew who have never wavered in their enthusiasm for film. Awe-inspiring moments like Teja Sajja’s Hanumanta standing majestically in front of a flame-lit structure of Lord Rama against the backdrop of a magnificent hill sculpture of Lord Hanuman demonstrate how masterfully Dasaratha Saivendra’s cinematography brings Prasanth Varma’s legendary vision to life.

This movie emphasizes the amazing things that may happen when a group of people work together to use their passion of movies and creativity.

Prasanth Varma, the director of the well-known films “Awe” and “Zombie Reddy,” has teamed up with Teja Sajja once more to create “Hanuman,” a Telugu-language superhero movie set in the vast Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. Casting Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai among others, the film was released on the auspicious holiday of Sankranti. A timeless battle between Hanumanthu, the legitimate heir to heavenly power, and Michael, the antagonist with an obsession for similar supernatural skills, is skillfully crafted in this film by skillfully fusing parts of Indian mythology with a modern plot. Using deft CGI work, Prasanth Varma explores the rural dynamics and difficulties encountered by the people of Anja Nadri by skillfully fusing these legendary themes with the village setting.

Teja Sajja gives a riveting performance as Hanumanthu, transforming from a cunning burglar to the heroic rescuer of Anja Nadri. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is excellent in the role of Anjamma; she gives the character the ideal balance of grace and strength. The plot gains a vital emotional depth from Amritha Aiyer’s portrayal of Meenakshi, a doctor engaged in a romantic relationship with Hanumanthu. The film’s exciting plot is greatly enhanced by Vinay Rai’s excellent portrayal of the adversary. The ensemble cast, which includes Raj Deepak Shetty, Satya, Getup Srinu, Vennela Kishore, and Samuthurapandi, enhances the narrative even more.

The excellent usage of visual effects (VFX) in “Hanuman” is noteworthy since it subtly enhances the story without taking center stage. The film’s overall appeal is greatly enhanced by the work of Sai Babu Talari’s editing and Dasaratha Saivendra’s photography. The visual experience is further enhanced by the musical talents of Krishna Saurabh, Gowra Hari, and Anudeep Dev. Though there is room for growth, the pacing, particularly in the first half, could have been improved with a tighter cut and a shorter running length to increase audience involvement. In the context of Indian cinema, “Hanuman” offers a unique cinematic experience by skillfully fusing mythology with modern action, thanks to its strong plot, eye-catching imagery, and outstanding acting.
